17 year old kid that goes to my gym that claims natural

It's funny because 99% of people even in the gyms have no idea how to get big. They take pics of themselves with a 6 pack and think 'they've made it'. Likewise, this ignorance also leads people to think anyone 'bigger than them' is on steroids.

I can tell you that I can and have naturally achieved a similar physique to Tyler. The thing is, it takes dedication and persistence to achieve it. Most people give up in the gym after 1-2 months because they achieve 0 progress, but most have 0 idea what to even do.

I've had friends accuse ME of steroids from simply gaining 30 lbs of muscle over a year. It's also incredibly easy to look big when you're shorter (I'm 5'9ish so it wasn't hard for me to look big). And if you actually work out how you're supposed to, your physique will look a lot better than someone who lifts for biceps or back muscles. You need the whole package to look like you lift. And for the most part, most gymbros I know LOVE to focus on bicep curls to have good arms. Yet they ignore deltoids, triceps, and forearms all the time. You need fat delts and a defined tricep to have the appearance of a 'strong' arm.

People are incredibly ignorant about lifting weights. They think going to the gym twice a week and doing bicep curls for 10 sets will make them look good and then they complain and accuse everyone of steroids because THEY can't achieve it. It's not because they've reached their bodily limit, it's because they have no fucking clue what they're doing and achieving nothing by doing what they're doing. And so naturally, anyone bigger than them must have taken 'extra steps' to look bigger than them.

No, it's because you're retarded and think curls and bench press constitutes a proper lifting regiment. I've long given up on lifting weights (still conscious of my health) but Tyler's physique is entirely achievable naturally.

It's also funny when people mistake extremely low body fat for steroids. Steroids does not contribute to lower body fat--people take substances such as clenbuterol to achieve unnaturally low body fat (3-4%). This is unsustainable and usually is done near competition time because you truly feel like a sack of shit when you're running on that little body fat and trying to maintain that physique because the body naturally wants to burn both fat and muscle when your body is not receiving the calories it needs. Clenbuterol serves to preserve muscle mass while your body continues to burn adipose tissue for energy--since fat cells are literally how the body stores unused calories.

TL;DR: People have little to no knowledge about nutrition, despite their strong feelings to the contrary. They will accuse others of steroids simply because they do not understand their own body and its limitations and because they do not understand how to properly go about a hypertrophy regiment. Most people would probably wrongly consider Tyler to be incredibly strong too, but muscle mass does not = strength; there might be correlation but lifting weights does not mean you become stronger. Why are monkeys so incredibly strong but look like tiny little harmless creatures? Because muscle mass is not the end-all, be-all.
