I mean they are definitely not common at all as its basically fully permanent. You cant do a cover up or do anything else with it. I personally like how it looks on me and prefer it a ton more than an actual tattoo sleeve. And imo the solid black arm looks far cleaner and minimalist than anything else i could have gotten on my arm. And tbh i just love how I have a white arm and a black arm that contrast looks so cool imo.

Also I know I'm probably too young to have something that permanent at only 18 but I actually covered up a terrible tattoo sleeve I had done by myself at 15-16 and so I wanted that sleeve gone as soon as I could get tatts legally. But of course I really wanted the black arm I would have gotten it anyway its just the timing that was good
