I love Troye enough that i don't even care about motivations, but tbh I don't know how open Bts will be with collabs at this point. The whole reason they love Halsey is because she treated them like human beings when everyone else was either ignoring them or treating them like something to be gawked at. Bts have been really vocal about loving certain artists for YEARS now, and ngl even though I usually hate accusations of "clout chasing" it does say something when those artists only start acknowledging them back now. Troye is by no means the worst, and I'm not even saying his actions arent genuine (I've loved him since his YouTube days) but I think Bts are taking stuff like this with a BIG grain of salt at this point, and have been for a while.
