I [28 F] am frustrated that people don't seem very interested in establishing committed, long-term relationships

Nobody has answered your question... so I'd like to tell you WHAT to do which I always think is far more useful.

I am a generally nice guy... I work in computational research... I run 25 miles a week... I make a solid 6 figures and own a very nice home... I'm just a few years older than you... I might be the kind of guy you are looking for and I hope you don't think I'm tooting my horn I'm just trying to show you MY (or his ;) perspective.

I am an attractive I do care about this.

educated woman I care if the conversation is interesting. I care that she (you) is a person that can discuss ideas! I don't care about your degree.

with a good career An attractive quality in a man... but I don't care about her (your) career at all.

am financially stable. An attractive quality in a man... I don't care about this.

have traveled internationally, An attractive quality in a man... I don't care about this.

am training for a marathon. An attractive quality in a man... I don't care about this.

So what I'm looking for in a LTR... and what you should embrace and offer if you want a LTR...

Be attractive (enough ;) Be kind, soft, gentle, caring, nurturing Be great company... and not in the argumentative (aka: strong woman) way Be intelligent and be happy

Men want to commit to this - http://retro-centric.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/IMG_8199C24web.jpg

Somehow... some women got together and managed to convince all the other women that being in the kitchen in a pretty dress is 'degrading' and working a soulless office job and climbing the corporate ladder at ACME is somehow fulfilling.... personally... I think the former is a better life... I doubt you'll die wishing you had baked for your family less and made VP of selling useless shit to people that don't need it anyway.

Best of luck to you :)
