I have had this problem for 15 years of WoW. New expansion, new class. New week new class. I used to spend hours debating in my head what class I'm gonna play and why it's "me". I always had multiple characters and no true main.

This time around I told myself to pick 1 class and stay with it no matter what. If I don't like it, chances are, I don't like the game.

I thought about it for months and settled on mage. Day 1 of classic I rolled a paladin I have no idea why, and decided I'd play holy spec the entire time.

I love my holy paladin for the things that are unique to it. I have always been into paladin lore and holy spells.

The trick is to love what you have and not dabble in what other classes have. That's also how you get good at your class. Of course seeing mages aoe farm, have endless utility, and polymorph makes me feel like I'm missing out. But I have gotten so specific with my paladin, i have bubble + skull of impending doom which has been amazing for avoiding ganks from high lvls or large groups. I have blessing of sacrifice to counter poly, i completely forgot about that. I put on a 2h and smack mages in duels now even as holy.
