5 million Cub "fans" show up to rally today, compared to 1.5 million to Sox rally in 2005. Yep I definitely feel like the neglected step child.

im a huge hawks fan. I am incredibly annoyed by a lot of our "fans," particularly the ones who blame everything on Crawford. Toews has a goal slump? talk about it endlessly but fail to recognize his trending upwards goal differential. PP gives up a shorthand goal once in a blue moon? Fire the special teams coach. I see it all the time.

I like our fanbase exactly the way it is. I'd say most are passionate about the game and if im having a discussion with a fellow sox fan i never get the feeling like Im talking to a moron like I do with a lot of hawks fans nowadays.

The Cubs are hot right now and have a large following. I see a lot of the same people that bandwagon for the hawks jumping on the Cubs train. Game 4 of the Series, I think its fair to say the majority of Cub fans were ready to burn down wrigley and salt the fields. There was so much Javi Baez hate because he swung at a high pitch in the 9th inning, people saying he's not ready for the big leagues, they need to pinch hit for him, etc. It was truley baffling to witness. Obviously the passionate Cubs fans didnt vindicate him like all the rest did, but my god it reminded me of the shift of the Hawks fanbase ca. 2012.

They can have the attention i say. We're fine how it is
