After watching The Last Jedi, are you still excited about Rian Johnson's new Star Wars trilogy?

Yup, and it was a nice change of pace from yet-another "everything looks to be doomed due to a bad plan only for everything to be miraculously saved at the last minute" trope. They broke orders, went on a dangerous mission, tentatively trusted a criminal, he betrayed them, the mission failed, and a bunch of their allies died. Pretty damn realistic in many ways. People saying "the Finn/Rose subplot didn't affect the movie at all" must have watched a completely different movie than me. Their decision to go to the casino world was one of the most consequential parts of the movie.

Complaining about things like BB-8 being OPed as fuck, Mary Poppins, and the overuse of jokes hold more weight to me than the Rose/Finn subplot.

Overall I found the movie to be just good. Not great, not terrible, a bit of a letdown, but still fun and worth another watch. I'd give it a 6.5/10 to 7/10.
