AITA For calling people out when people say they're "manic"?

"A manic episode is defined as a "distinct period of abnormally and persistently elevated, expansive, or irritable mood and abnormally and persistently increased activity or energy, lasting at least 1 week and present most of the day, nearly every day (or any duration, if hospitalization is necessary)," where the mood is not caused by drugs/medication or a non-mental medical illness and: (a) is causing obvious difficulties at work or in social relationships and activities, or (b) requires admission to hospital to protect the person or others, or (c) the person is suffering psychosis." - American Psychiatric Association's diagnostic manual

"Mania is a high state that happens when you have a mental illness called bipolar disorder. Your mood can swing from day to day or over weeks or months from the lows of depression to the highs of mania. During the mania stage, you may feel good and full of energy. Mania and bipolar disorder are serious medical issue that require treatment."

"Mania is a period of extreme high energy or mood associated with bipolar disorder. Everyone’s moods and energy levels change throughout the day and over time. But mania is a serious change from the way a person normally thinks or behaves, and it can last for weeks or even months. It makes sense that this could cause serious problems in a person’s relationships, work, and school."

"Mania is a state of elevated energy, mood, and behaviour, most often seen in those with bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, or who have taken certain drugs or medications. While the feelings present in mania can be positive, energetic, or even euphoric, they may also manifest more negatively—as emotions like irritation, anxiety, or grandiosity."
