You knew how strongly they felt as practicing Muslims about non halal meat. Why did you think that it would be ok to cook it or eat it under their roof? They are right it was disrespectful. Also you’re ‘I cleaned it what the big ducking deal’ part shows that you’re missing the point which was that you were disrespectful. It also makes you sound entitled. That and the fact that you are criticizing the house your friend is allowing you guys to stay in. He or she is doing that out of the kindness of his heart and your not entitled to stay with him/her. Be grateful that someone is helping you out of the mess you created.
