I thought he liked me. I literally IGNORED him when he asked that and then he changed his tune and told me he wanted to take me out....so I was willing to give him a chance on my terms. I wasn't expecting it to end up so badly.

clearly I was prepared to pay my own way, but he didn't mention he didn't want to pay until AFTER one big bill was sitting on the table, and he threatened to leave if I didn't pay. So i took out my card and put it in with his intending to split it after he went on about equality. then the waitress came back and said sorry we can't split so I put it all on your card, and I was so shocked and embarrassed I didn't know what to do in the moment
