I literally made a comment about this earlier. Being a housewife is a full time job. I work full time, BUT I come from a culture where women are expected to stay at home and take care of the house and kids.

Growing up, I babysat my cousins, cooked and cleaned for the entire household. Groceries, laundry, running errands for my parents and brothers while they worked. My FULL TIME JOB is easier than maintaining a household ever was.

When I get home from work, I can sit and decompress. Housewives can't do that. There is this idea this since they don't have a job, their life is easy. The fact of the matter is, there is no 'quiting time' for a stay at home Mom, or housewife. She is ALWAYS working.

Good for you for standing up for your wife. You guys both work hard, and support eachother. There is nothing wrong with that.
