Well this is tedious. Look, I actually googled it too right after I suggested it and I didn’t come across anything that said to wear protective gear or not to do it if you hadn’t done it before. I came across simple, clear instructions about how to jumpstart a car that validated my response.

Having said that, I’ve just googled again and managed to find a link halfway down the page that suggested protective gear, but nothing that says not to do it if you hadn’t before. They are providing instructions on how to do it, so it would make no sense to suggest the reader shouldn’t act if they haven’t done it. How would anyone learn?

Stop being so antagonistic and move on.
