I've experienced overdraft and plenty of financial hardships. No need to make passive agressive assumptions about any financial stressors I've experienced to make your point.

I know of people on social security benefits incapable of working, who have been overdrawn by hundreds of dollars on numerous occasions without any sort of repercussion. Unless the bank is going to close an account immediately upon overdraft, which I've never heard of, I've had no reason to believe that it's an "emergency". That has nothing to do with my "never experiencing financial hardship". My life has been financial stressors after financial stressors for over a year now.
