OP, you married someone who DOES celebrate these holidays, ffs. Would you be pulling this shit if, instead of religion, your wife was from a culture that celebrated something like Lunar New Year? Would you still be so proud of your ignorance then and of denying your family that celebration? Unless you've got panic attack-level trauma associated with the holiday, you owe it to your spouse and kids to participate.
