There’s a big difference between caring for a house vs. caring for a house as well as an infant.

So it’s not particularly kind (or accurate) to judge the OP’s wife so harshly because she’s not accomplishing as much as she expected or committed to. Babies are exhausting. And new parents get infrequent and uninterrupted sleep.

In comparison, without the childcare (like If she were not a mom but just a SAHW), bumping up the housework would likely be a cakewalk for her. After all, she did 50% of the housework while working what was likely a 40 hour workweek. And the OP did the majority of their housework during the pregnancy while working full-time.
