All you need to know about American healthcare.

Little story. I'm a broke college student who can barely afford food/my monthly rent. This past Wednesday I had severe pain in my stomach, more pain than I've ever had before. The pain was so much I couldn't breathe, I was sweating, and my body was shaking. I really needed to go to the doctors, but being broke I honestly was scared to go in fear of the bills. I stayed at home for 2 hours before I finally caved and went. When I got there I had to be transferred to another hospital to an ER. The first hospital wanted to take me there but I kept refusing (because of the fear) so I drove myself (which probably wasn't the best idea). I wasn't worried about myself, I was worried about the bills and healthcare shouldn't be like that
