Almost 1 year with absolutely nothing added....And here we are praising them like they already fix the AI, Police AI, Old gen Performance and lackluster RPG elements.

Still waiting and watching, but have been lurking since release to see when the miracle patch finally comes.

At this point I'm confused because the issues I saw the most gripes about over the past year were (1) awful AI including police out of nowhere and comical civilian responses to player violence, (2) no differences in story line based on life path, or really anything else the player does, (3) severe glitching with vehicle and other animations, and (4) overall lack of narrative content making the world feel empty. There must be more but that's what I can recall off the top of my head.

Most of the great disappointment seemed to be because after a year of patches none of the really broken stuff was fixed and zero new content or systems were added to fill the game out. Did I miss something or was all that magically fixed now? Because I don't remember seeing any big hurrah about how the miracle patch has come and the game finally lives up to its promises.

If nothing has changed since launch, where is this outpouring of adoration coming from? Is it just some sort of astroturfing campaign to buff sales for the holiday season? Or did great things happen and I just missed it.

To be clear, I'm a fan of the game although I haven't bought it yet. Waiting until I hear that the worst bits are fixed and the performance actually is good, particularly on Xbox Series X, where I would buy it. I always assumed it would become amazing at some point when CDPR put the work in to make it so, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that it has got there yet.
