Christianity is supposed to be a somewhat rejection of the old testament to embrace the new testament. The only reference to homosexuality is in the old testament and its somewhat woolly at best. Many scholars don't think it is a reference to homosexuality anyway.

Many Christians are hypocrites and twist the bible to suit them. A lot of pasters will exploit their congregation so that they can be incredibly wealthy which goes against many of Jesus's teachings.

There are many LGBT friendly faith groups. It may be worth reaching out to one that aligns with your faith. It would help you with any conflict your soul is going through. The new testament teaches love and community. It is a shame the people around you have seemed to have warped that
