I have a feeling it was one of two things
But there’s one certainty
It’s certain they were immature and probably lacked self esteem and emotional intelligence and/or empathy. When I was a young girl, I didn’t understand that men had feelings and emotions. And my stupid little gossip world wasn’t in any way, cleaver or cool.
They could’ve been saying something cat callish about you to one another, when I was in high school my friends and I would say the dumbest things like, “he’s hot; he kinda looks like Becks boyfriend, the one you made out with!! Hahahaha, get his number!! I dare you dude!”
They could’ve been talking about types and shit so every single man or woman that passed them was fare game as a “potential” and why or why not.
It’s all fucking ridiculous, but it’s ALLLLL coming from their deep insecurities. And they’ve found a way to talk about something they relate to. Their horny desperate lonely teenage lives.
I was like that, and I am ashamed I was. Thank god life has humbled me and people are beautiful and sexy in so many different ways. I also don’t give a fuck what I look like now, looks and appearance took up 80% of my world until I turned 19 or so
