So the issue is he sat on renewing his passport for a while and I originally thought I'd be unable to visit home at all due to my job.

But.. I suddenly became in between jobs with the new one starting May 1st so I had all this month to go visit. He rushed to get his passport application completed in hopes to be able to join me. He turned it in on March 29 with a two week processing time.

I was gonna leave on the 4th of this month and just go by myself. I was fine with going on my own but he convinced me to push it for next Tuesday cause he was 100% confident he would recieve it by then. I talked to my family and they were cool with it and were excited to meet him. It's 3 business days till the flight and still no passport. I'm furious with his embassy for a false estimate, him for blindly believing it, and myself for trusting that he could make this happen.
