Doesn't God possesses the power to stop the pandemic? I want to emphasis that I don't want God to prevent people from dying, I am just asking why didn't he give them a humane, dignified death as he is an omni-benevolent being?

Thats really nice question but practically i dont think it would ever happened , religiously speaking god cant even save everyone at their time so i dont expect this time either , i believe in god doesnt means im andhbhakt , people need to think their mind as a religious people god only helps people who do good deeds , killing a women and then coming home to worship god doesnt make you religious or get blessing from god

doesn't explain why god would kill us in earthquakes, volcanic explosions, tsunamis and pandemics like blackdeath

Speaking religiously , even from back in the days people do lots of cruel things to their human, nature etc and that made god to pay for human sins
