[AMA request] MPF Customer Service section super or NCOIC

No they're not, it's a pretty fair and transparent process. I participated in a career field wide one for Army Support in my AFSC. It's actually going to increase our numbers from what I gather based on the information they gathered. Here's what they care about.

  1. What tasks are you doing that have been levied on your organization from MAJCOM or higher? So basically, you get no manpower for the good idea fairly bullshit leaders decide to do within your units. Unless you can point to something that show the MAJCOM said you need to do or an AFI...you are going to take it out of hide.

  2. What's the minimum skill level required to do that task? Pretty simple and self explanatory.

  3. How long does it take to perform the tasks?

  4. How often are the tasks performed based on metrics?

That's basically it from what I remember. If you are doing a bunch of extra crap because your leadership thought it'd be a good idea and can't point to a regulation or MAJCOM tasking, they're basically screwing you. The AF only mans units to do the mission that's asked of them, well at least on the UMD.
