One of my co-workers used moviepass. She kept going into our local AMC and requesting a $10 gift card after she'd open her moviepass app and checking in. What Moviepass does is it just adds a credit to your card it appears. I don't know if you could check in to a movie which was located right next to a McDonalds and it would work...but it did work to purchase gift cards. She racked up about 15 of them and she did this daily before they rejected her from using it anymore because they somehow caught on. So she stole $150 from Moviepass. Plus the whole refund thing they can't issue a refund if you have moviepass but they can give you a gift card with however amount you've spend on tickets using movie pass and just claim that you don't have the card you paid with on hand.
