This is such a bummer to put out but here I go. My husband and I house my mom and sister (father passed) . My sister was TBI induced narcolepsy. She got with the wrong guy and he beat her. A lot. Into brain damage. My mom has emphysema. I work as a social worker, helping the disabled community find employment. I absolutely love what I do, but social work doesn’t pay well. Especially not enough to cover four adults and a child. Which brings me to my husband losing his job (covid). I don’t know what I’m asking for, if anything. We’re trying to get both my mom and sister on disability but It’s been one obstacle in front of the other. Put me at the bottom of your list. we’re not that bad off yet. We’re just at the end of our reserves. I’m just resigning myself to the idea that I’m not going to be able to take care of this on my own anymore. Thank you for your heart and compassion.
