It isn't a case of who needs it more, both need it. There isn't some point at which you just know everything and can't benefit from learning something.

Stop defending this lack of reading based on "but othera didn't do it", are you willing to keep that trend?

I'm not defending anyone, I'm attacking everyone. You don't get a free pass just because you're a bit older. The people of the previous generations are still alive, still able to vote and many of them are still working. There's no excuse for ignorance from any generation.
