Why don't the Thunder try winning with Westbrook with the "AI approach"

While I'm almost certain they would have beaten Cleveland in '15/16 (had they kept up how they played against the Spurs/Warriors first 4 games of the series), not even the 2nd best player of the decade could win with him. WB is fun to watch but him not being a good shooter holds the team back so much. I think the NBA has evolved so much to the point that you absolutely need your starting guards to be above-average shooters to win a championship. Like who was the last sub-37% percent starting guard to win a championship, Wade?

Although Harden might do it through sheer volume which would be hilarious as fuck. I just can't see a team willing to give WB that green of a light though.
