I work at venues for EDM shows as well as attend dubstep shows as an attendee regularly. You bet your ass I wear high fidelity earplugs at all times whenever it's over 80dbs and usually just wear them even if it's lower. It blows my mind that people will stand under these massive speakers blasting at 100+dbs without any protection at all. Nobody seems to give a shit. I'll take not perfectly hearing what my gf says next to me at a show because of my earplugs vs not knowing what anyone says to me ever 15 years down the road. If you go to concerts regularly please for the love of all that is hilt buy some fucking high fidelity earplugs and save yourself.
