[Amick] I repeat: Paul George - barring a title chance in Indy - is hell-bent on heading for Laker Land. This message has been sent throughout NBA.

Those are some of the most insanely inaccurate analogies I have ever seen. Sports are supposed to be territorial, that is the entire cause of the popularity of professional sports. If everyone just switched teams to whichever one was good we would have no small market teams whatsoever and literally a couple teams would have enormous fan bases and the other teams would have none. I can't imagine England's football scene if no one cared to root for their home team. It would literally change the fabric of the country. No even joking.

Catholics deconvert/convert because of a realization they feel in life. The color thing I don't even get because who the fuck has a favorite color past age like 12, not to mention you have no connection to a color besides if you think you like it. It isn't something you can support and something that brings your entire community together like a local sports team can. Activities people enjoy doing naturally change throughout their life, which sports team you have a connection to has nothing to do with that. Seriously, none of the analogies make a single ounce of sense whatsoever regarding the situation. You basically said "If you think people shouldn't switch which teams they cheer for then you are saying no one should ever change in anyway whatsoever."
