This angry bigot's idea is... actually pretty good?

I've been saying this (without the hate) all along. Stop segregated bathrooms all together. We don't need "men's" room or a "lady's" room. We just need Bathroom!!!

This circus the media is dragging us through is unnecessary. It is more hurtful than helpful. Up until a few months ago I had no issues using the restroom. Now, feelings of fear overwhelm me at times because I am afraid of getting accosted for doing something we all have to do. I know some feel that is out time for justice. That this is our chance to gain our share of equal rights. I agree, but the solution is way easier than anyone thinks. I know it costs money. But money is far easier to replace than someone's life. This isn't just about bathrooms, it is about equal rights for all. Sadly that's the part that the opposition doesn't get. I've had to explain this now to more people than ever. Which is why it bothers me. Before this, I was just a person. Now everyone feels it's ok to acknowledge that I'm Trans. As before they just left it as it was. I was me without question. Now there are questions and all of them would be inappropriate to ask a cisgender person. But it's okay because now I'm not a real person. I'm a pretend person. I just want to go back to when I was just me without the controversy. Also, it is now frustrating because the LGB finally wants to acknowledge the T in there monicker. Before this they barely acknowledged us and in the past would remove provisions in laws for the trans community so long is it helped their LGB agenda to gain ground. They need new fight now that won marriage equality. And they want to make our plight theirs. This political maneuvering is alienating a group of people. There are many trans people who want the public to know their struggle. There are also a those who had an okay life before but now find ourselves in the midst of a stupid power struggle because of potty time. I'm sorry for the rant!
