I'm not entirely sure if I'm on board with this.

Sometimes I go with immortality because I want to keep a lord that I have invested a lot in.

​

But there were other times when I intentionally denied them immortality in order to add more high stakes and excitement to the battles. And if I lost a highly levelled lord, that was always a tragedy in its own right.

​

This feels like a step backwards. Now, even if I want my lord to remain mortal, the game denies me that privilege.

​

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that things are now more convenient for people who always make their lords mortal. I know that's probably the majority of the people who play the game, and I'm happy for you. I mean it, I genuinely am.

But for me personally, this is definitely a loss.
