Antagonist : Strength or endurance ?

We of course don’t want too much Hypertrophy, but Steve Low talks about Hypertrophy potential of different muscle fibres.

Going for strength gives you Hypertrophy in the fastest and medium fast muscles fibers (forgot the real names). Those have the highest potential for strength.

We are in a strength based sport and it would probably be best to have decently strong antagonist muscles.

As somebody else said. (Paraphrasing) if the antagonist is strong, then the agonist can be stronger.

Example. People with tight hamstrings, often have weak hamstrings and stronger anterior leg muscles.

If anything is wrong please correct me. It’s really late here and I need some sleep
