Isn't the term "mansplaining" sexist?

I can meet you half way. "man splain" has been used as projection by people who think a man doesn't know what he's talking about. It's supposed to refer to the phenomena of men being socialized to be explainers and women to always listen to men and let them talk, as well as the effect this has on how we perceive our own and others' intellect and communicative abilities. No one really "mansplains" unless they intend on condescending towards women. Usually it's a social dynamic that exists as an evolving process and requires a society to exist. And it can't be changed by telling individual men (and women) they are doing it. Being mansplained to isn't about one person condescending to you, its about the feeling you get right after when the whole room has decided you have nothing useful to say.
