Do any of you live in low income apartments/shared houses filled with crackheads?

This is why Americans just can't have nice things.

The US has pretty much the nicest things in the entire world. It's a common thing on reddit how people describe the way the world would be if it conformed to their views rather than the way the world is.

Even your views of housing projects reflect this distortion. Projects were nightmarish concentrations of crime and poverty that were almost immediately rendered decrepit by their inhabitants who destroyed the projects because they couldn't give less of a fuck because they paid essentially nothing to live in them. That's why people talked of "escaping" the projects.

Might want to open your eyes sometime and actually see what's out there instead of closing your eyes and picturing how the world would be if you were right about everything.
