Any on opensource or organic standardization?

I can't think of any readings for this, but it is an interesting discussion point; I imagine that the most optimal form of anarchism for handling production, distribution and services would be either anarcho-syndicalism or any of its close relatives. In a society like this, councils/unions of workers would deliberate on how to achieve large scale production of needed (or wanted) goods. The standardised modular tech that you speak of would be implemented slowly as federations form organically to allow for discussions to be had on the details of such things between unions. The opensource side of this comes from the free association of people between councils/unions and federations.
