has anybody stopped smoking by applying the law?

Ah my friend I believe I may be able to help here. I haven’t quit smoking but I did quit drinking! One thing I used was Allen Carr’s book: easy way to stop drinking. I mention this book because his first book that inspired the one I read was geared towards quitting smoking. Please if you haven’t heard of him look him up as I believe that coupled with your knowledge of Neville etc will be extremely helpful.

So what I did was listen to this book on audio during my commutes and when I was finished I was ready to quit drinking. Simultaneously I found a chapter in one of Joseph Murphy’s books that talks about quitting drinking, I found an affirmation that worked for me and it may work for you as well - something about being free of a habit.

My intense desire was to quit drinking, so even when I kept doing it I would recite my affirmation and keep praying. The only thing standing between you and a smoke free life is how badly do you want to quit. I believe this can be very easy for you and I encourage you to believe the same.

Just because we believe in the “Law” doesn’t mean that we should expect a magical genie effect over everything in our lives, nothing wrong at all with putting the work in to get to our goals. Good luck, you got this!!
