It's the song OP asked for assistance with. What are you confused about? The guitar riff consists of C, D and F. The bass riff is the pattern I typed out above. I literally don't know how to explain this to you in a simpler way without a video, but there is really nothing to it. Here's an ELI5:

For the opening guitar riff, put your index finger on the A string. This is the 5th string on the guitar. It is the second string down if you are looking down on it. Great. Now put your index finger on the third fret. When you pluck the string with your guitar pick. You have just played a C, just like I explained in my first post as the first note in the guitar riff. Now, the next note in this riff is a D. Just like I said. To play a D note, you will need to use your ring finger to press down on the 5th fret on the A string. Finally, the last note is a low F. Put your finger on the first fret of the E string to play the F note. Listen to the song for the pattern.

Now for the bass line. Begin on the low E string and put your finger on the 5th fret. This is an A. Just like I said. Listen to the rhythm and listen for the note change. This is simple. You are going to form a two note chord with your middle finger and index finger. Your middle finger will be on the 8th fret of the low E string and your index finger will be on the 7th fret of the A string. Play the pattern you hear before the chord changes to a D. After that part of the bass line you will be playing a D now. Move your finger up to the 10th fret of the low E string. Listen for the rhythm as it will change to the G next. The G is the 10th fret on the A string. Now to finish the riff, you will play two A's on the 12th fret of the A string, back to the G, then down to the E note which will be the 12th fret on the E string.
