Anyone here doing home schooling for any A-Levels?

Hey, no worries! I'm happy to help :) And I did AQA for all of my A Levels. As for motivation, I found it important to not over-study and give myself burnout. The brain can only take in so much information at once, so when I was on study leave for exams a typical day for me would be waking up at about 9AM, having a proper breakfast, then revising in 40 minute (give or take) blocks with breaks in between. I also made an effort to go outside and go for a walk every day, this really helps to refresh you and give your mind a rest. I'd typically stop working at about 6PM, unless I had an exam the next day (but even then I don't recommend studying after 9PM).

Apart from during exam time, motivation mainly came from wanting to get into my chosen university. I'm not saying that I was 100% motivated 100% of the time, but as long as you always keep your long-term goal in the back of your mind you should be ok. Taking care of your physical and mental health are extremely important, too.

My revision methods are mainly just re-writing notes and identifying key pieces of information, and then doing questions just to check my understanding. For A Levels, especially science subjects, I can't stress enough how important it is to do ALL of the past papers available to you, and do them more than once. I found notecards to be fairly useful, but for me at least the act of making them is more useful than actually using them. Also, explaining things to others is extremely helpful in identifying gaps in your own knowledge. Explaining A Level physics to my dad so that he could understand it too (he hasn't done physics since he was in school) helped me a lot- you have to have a good understanding of a topic to be able to explain it properly to a layperson, and this works for most other subjects, too.

Anyway, good luck with your studies and I hope your A Levels take you where you want to go :)
