stole this from r/lawschooladmissions but this is literally all London unis rn and a few others like Edinburgh

Oh hey, I remember you, you got into Cambridge too, right? Holy smokes, congrats, that's actually insane! And I think UCL should be the least of your worries, cuz I'm guessing you'd choose Imperial as your insurance over UCL?

I'm applying for psychology and it's the same situation as CS, sadly. None of the London unis that I've applied to have even started looking at psych applications, let alone actually get to the stage where they make decisions, so I'm in for the long haul, haha. I'm just really grateful that I got one offer from Manchester last week! At least that means I'm going to uni, which is honestly a huge relief because I'm international and I didn't want to be in my home country if I could help it.

All the best to your friend for CS though! I think one thing that's really helping me is that most psych/law/CS applicants haven't actually been evaluated yet and that a long wait doesn't necessarily mean things will end badly, at least as per last year's results, so hopefully your friend will hear back soon as well. And congrats to you again!
