Could I still get an offer if my predicted grades are slightly below the entry requirments.

I agree. Maybe have one or two that are above your grades that you really like and one or two that are your current grades and one or two that are lower.

I did my BA a few years ago so things might have changed. I botched all my mocks (I was depressed) getting BCCD and ended up with only two accepted offers, one for a uni didn't really want to go to. I didn't even meet the conditional offer for my first choice out of those, but I got a place anyway. So maybe apply for your favourite high one but don't put all your eggs in one basket. It seems that the market changes every year so it's hard to tell whether or not that high grade unis will be under or oversubscribed.
