Anyone here who still loves this game ?

I don't believe it's the responsibility of the studio/dev/publisher to manage expectations. The devs laid out what you would experience very plainly. That's what is ticking me off so much about the community backlash. Much of it is based on personal mismanagement of expectations. Hype is not something that can be controlled. If it could be, a publisher sure isn't going to tell the devs to "handle it." Hype is free publicity. Anyone who bases their expectations off of the experiences of others is going to be cheating themselves. The only way to judge a game is to play it. If Steam didn't have a refund option, I might be singing a different tune. The price tag was announced ages ago, the main gameplay elements were explored and explained ad nauseum, and most games release with bugs/glitches (especially from an indie studio). So far as I can tell, the only "lie" that would go against the hype is that multiplayer isn't actually multiplayer (and Sean made it clear that you shouldn't even expect to find another person EVER).
