Not that I don’t find the chuds despicable but a lightbulb went off in my head when Florida broke for Trump that the Democratic party’s actions were the equivalent of bouncing a slam dunk off the back iron.

Not to mention I lived in Milwaukee at the time and the working class, predominantly Latino and black neighbors I interacted with in the election’s aftermath were pretty much all “I would’ve voted but I was out of milk.”

Didn’t feel great to realize over the course of 48 hours how the inner city working class felt the party I thought was #woke
