I dont consider myself pro or anything of that sort but I'm certainly not bad if I am able to drop ~15 avg kills on my own next to every game...

how does that have to do anything at all with the game being slow instead of action packed? sure the ring forces them in, but when? they can wait out the whole game in camping positions just to get high placement and high exp instead of having to work for their stuff, yes we could go and kill them, but NO, it's still not "FUN" to have to search for players to get a high kill count or be active rather than passive and get the same/ next to same outcome... get your head out of your ass and play pubg or any other BR game if you strive for and/or defend camping over actively playing the game
