How to not spoil others as a new player?

Pick one legend and get very comfortable with when and how you should use their abilities. You are free to use someone else’s habits as guideline as you observe others, or make up your own rules. But USE them. That’s about all anyone can ask if you. It’s one thing to be new and not so great at the game, it’s another to do that AND take someone’s theoretical legend pick and then not utilize them. So just make an earnest attempt at contributing to the team in a sort of “role playing” type of way. You picked Bloodhound? FIND people. Your team can kill them. Pathfinder? Ziplines, more and more frequently, with better and better placement. Shuttle your team around and let them be better than you. Lifeline? Hang back and revive your team when they need you to. Keep them healed after a fight with the drone.

You’ll get better. For now, don’t leave anything on the table. Your team will appreciate it. And ping. Ping as if it was a turn signal. You can also try no-fill duos to get your bearings without being a burden. But it’ll be significantly harder and you’ll learn nothing about being a team player- only the cost of NOT having a team in sync. Those are the squads you’ll stand a chance against; you can use their mistakes to your advantage when you play with teammates.
