I don't believe this event makes him a scum bag or waving his genitals in a girls face, both are over a line but neither is 'scum bag' I think a man could do these things have a revelation and set about a life of good. That would in my mind require an admission to ones self the error of the thinking that landed one there and an honest apology, which would make him unconfirmable at this point though I doubt someone to whom amends have been made would feel the world needed to know.

The idea that he knowingly allowed women to be drugged and gang raped would land him solidly in scum for me even if he did not participate... but I guess frats in the 80's might have been worse than the 90's I was not in one but the rumors that they looked the other way for 'date rape' are still common. this if true would be a whole nother level.

that said I think that he lied under oath in his prior confirmation and that today's hearing would not have been necessary in a rational system. the fact that a judge is held to an extreme standard is justified in my opinion and he failed to meet that standard to me as soon as it was shown he did in fact have knowledge of and acted upon information illegally obtained during his time in the bush whitehouse, his defense that this was common and acceptable does nothing when he denied under oath at his prior hearing having knowledge of these documents. that was to me perjury and disqualifies him.
