Greta is also probably funded by shale gas companies, to promote it, in disguise of global warming, and ban coal. Those developed countries 'developed' after using coal and are responsible for the highest amount of carbon in total account update. If consumption if coal is banned or regulated it will benefit these said companies. (You need to rember the petroleum fuel in gulf is also diminishing).

The developing countries need to relay on coal still now yo a certain extent. People criticising it does not care the or keep a closed eye on the fair share of exploitation the so called developing countries have done. So why not giving that much leverage to other countries, and slowly reducing the consumption once a alternate is found.

Fortunately an alternative in in progress lead mainly by 7 nation (The ITER Members—China, the European Union, India, Japan, Korea, Russia and the United States).  ITER will be the first fusion device to maintain fusion for long periods of time. And ITER will be the first fusion device to test the integrated technologies, materials, and physics regimes necessary for the commercial production of fusion-based electricity.
