Sort of non sequitur, & not a war movie per se but The Madness Of King George III is truly a great movie. He was the reigning king of England when the revolutionary war took place. Watch it if you haven't seen it already. It was awesome. But no, we embarrassed "Britain" during that war, & again in the War of 1812, & then in the 1840s we took the Oregon Territory from them & dared them to go to war w/us for a third time, & old blighty smartly declined, letting Polk have Oregon/Washington. Then of course we won WW I & WW II after the UK made a joke out of those wars. We cleaned their clocks & then cleaned up their messes in history. You won't find any such movie that you ask of. Britain has a long memory, & they are second fiddle to us/US & embarrassed. Truth.
