Asheville Police respond to a call, end up joining neighborhood 4th of July celebration

That's because it's probably not true. I've personally rooted out two bad cops in my career. Both were liars and i called them on their bullshit without hesitation. One was even a close friend before that.

Both of them had such egos that they concocted stories to their friends and families about the conspiracies against them. One believed that I had befriended him as part of an IA team to take him out because he was too productive. He told people all sorts of nonsense that only happens in TV just to make everyone else seem corrupt. Truth was he lied to arrest some nobody tweaks because they "disrespected" him. I called him out and was validated by video.

The other said that admin was conspiring against him and trying to have him removed from his positions in the training division because he wouldn't sell out to them. Then I caught him in a lie, which then he lied about to cover up. I forwarded it, more lies by him and all of a sudden he's saying that everyone is out to get him. He forgot to file some evidence that was left in his car. When they went to collect the car from his house (because he was about to be fired) he immediately blamed the unprocessed evidence on an unknown person who must have planted it. Then it was conspiracies and everyone else is lying to get him fired.

This persons story may be true... but it looks more like the other side of the story to the couple I've seen legitimately canned.
