Assassins Creed: Optimistic or skeptical?

Then there are the small problems, in my opinion:

1) Continuing the bad tradition of mixing games unbelievable mechanics with actual reality, in Battleship we got that "playing Battleship scene", in Doom we got fps camera, in this we got that "Jumping off Tower" stuff, but only reason that exists in the game is so you don't have to carefully climb down the tower because that would be boring and take up too much time, I don't want to see that in the movie. Even climbing up towers and other crap exists only to reveal more map, none of that should be in the movie.

2) Assassin's that are less believable then in the game: Whose damn idea was for characters to have face tattoos?? If there is one thing that makes you instantly recognizable is a intricate tattoo on your damn face.

3) Ubisoft having anything to do with this, sell the right and have no say at all on what goes on in the movie, Ubisoft shouldn't touch this thing in any way, after AC2 they have done nothing but screw over the franchise, where is AC: Japan? people have been asking for it and years later still nothing.

4) I saw Macbeth and as nice looking as it was it didn't look like director would much care about characters, he care about making a good looking movie, he made a good looking movie, characterization that was there was thanks to half decent screenplay, will AC have that? I doubt it, knowing who's writing it.

On the up side Sony is not making this so.. ye, that's good.
