Assume the Star Wars Prequels never happened; how would you make Anakin become Vader?

I'm running out of steam so I'm just going to summarize the rest.

Basically Obi Wan trains Anakin in isolation with a focus on purity and strict adherence to the jedi code. Although he intends to promote a true understanding of the force he instils pridefulness in Anakin.

A clone slave rebellion begins to spread across the galaxy. It is positive and just and Obi Wan and Anakin join. After many of the jedi choose to not to become involved, Anakin decides that they are decadent and no longer true representatives of the force. Elements of the rebellion begin to turn dark under the influence of the man who will become known as the emperor.

Obi Wan worries about the shift in the rebellion. After seeing the results of an attack by forces they are to join up with he decides that he can no longer support the rebellion. Anakin sees this as a betrayal of justice and splits with Obi Wan

Anakin takes control of a clone battalion and begins to hunt down the jedi and swears allegiance to the fledgling empire.
