My G2 remote freezes often, where I have to unscrew it, unplug the battery & plug it back in. They sent me a replacement that does the same exact thing. Thank goodness it doesn't freeze while riding, usually happens on during power on. Today, my torch light fell out while riding, luckily the wheel kicked it out of my way. Both torch lights have failed already on me, I would not recommend buying the canon torch light mount or torch light or the g2 because of remote freezing issue. Once the esc froze, but Backfire fixed it when I sent it for repair. Not sure why they didn't upgrade my esc, after informing them of repeated problems with the remote, or at the very least, add a battery disconnect switch to the remote. Other than the esc, the lights & the noisy 80mm wheels, I'll keep you posted if the 96mm wheels are an improvement. The Backfire deck feels really good & I would like Backfire to offer a Sanyo pack to double the capacity to achieve the "16 mile range" promised on their indiegogo campaign & printed on their box.
